I published the entire 2011 manifesto in my last post, which was a huge document, so I don't quite get your comment. There was plenty of policy in it and subsequently new programmes and also legislation. I am simply posting here an edited version - your five paras - of the approach to the 2011 election.
A further comment regarding the note by Larner & McAllister. It is well written and shows the potential problems. Which rather prompts the question: what possessed Labour to introduce a system that favours a party like Reform in the first place? Does nobody in Labour study what happens in Europe?
I can see why Labour ran into the blind alley it has ended in. Five paras on election strategy and only in the final one any mention of policies. No wonder they are heading for 3rd place now, this was the “exciting” period of Labour rule.
